Babbal Atwal

Babbal Atwal is the founder of Pure North Cannabis Co., an independent cannabis store in Guelph, Ontario, built together with his wife, Muneet. Since opening in 2023, their focus has been simple — create a welcoming store with strong product knowledge, honest recommendations, and a higher-end selection for customers who appreciate quality.

Babbal has been an entrepreneur for most of his life and has experience building businesses in different industries over the years. His background includes logistics, operations, and government-related work, which helped shape his approach to running a business with structure, reliability, and strong customer service.

Today, he is hands-on in the day-to-day operations of Pure North Cannabis Co., from selecting products and working with brands to helping customers and staying on top of market trends in Ontario’s cannabis industry. He believes the best cannabis retail experience comes from trust, consistency, and genuinely understanding what customers want.
